Adult Education

 

The Immigrant Centre's Adult Education Services help immigrants make informed choices about educational and career opportunities in Manitoba. We assist with credential recognition and registration for part-time Continuing Education courses through the Tap-In Program. We also provide assistance with registration and student loans.

  • Career exploration
  • Academic counselling
  • Financial counselling
  • Referral and advocacy
  • Tap-In courses:
    • Business and Management 
    • Applied Arts 
    • Community Services
    • Education
    • AutoCAD
    • Electrical
    • IT Courses
    • French Language Courses

 

The Tap-In program offers clients of Adult Education Services access to surplus seats in a variety of Continuing Education courses at a reduced cost of $60 per course (books are not included).

To qualify for the Tap-In program you must be a Permanant Resident newcomer to Canada (5 years or less), have Canadian Language Benchmarks of 6-8, with a a yearly gross income of $25,000 or less.
