Computer Lending Library

Consistent with Immigrant Centre Manitoba’s mission to provide newcomers with quality and innovative services, the Computer Lending Library’s (CLL) innovative program is designed to increase the use of computers by those who would not otherwise have access to them. Through this opportunity, we hope to encourage improvement in the quality of life for these individuals and their families.

The CLL targets new immigrants who, due to their social and economic isolation, often live as marginalized members of society. We can help individuals seek out settlement resources, improve technological skills, enhance employability and increase access to educational resources.

Our workshops provides a basic introduction to computers as well as training in word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software designed for clients with Canadian Language Benchmark levels 3 and above.

Clients may borrow a computer for up to 2 years.

There is no cost to the client.
