"People want to come to Manitoba," said Linda Lalande

From October 2010 to October 2011, Manitoba experienced a near-record gain of 15,700 people, putting it above the national average for the third year in a row. It's the second-highest level since such record-keeping began in 1971.

Immigration played a huge part in this population growth and Winnipeg Free Press journalist, Alana Odegard, interviewed our Executive Director, Linda Lalande, for her article published on Wednesday December 21st. Click on the link below to read it in full.
