| Description of Duties: | Facilitate conversational groups for newcomers from a big spectrum of backgrounds and CLB level. An EAL specialist will be available to help you with your lesson plans. This is part of our AEC program (Access English Centre). As this is a client-oriented program, please ensure you are able to commit your time and expertise before applying. |
| Skills Required: | Must be client-student oriented and possess excellent communication skills. Ability to relate and empathize with the needs of immigrants from diverse ethno-cultural backgrounds. Volunteers are expected to commit to 2 hours per week for three months. |
| Skills Gained: | Chance to learn more about newcomers to Winnipeg, improve your cross-cultural communication skills and have fun with a diverse group of students |
