Workplace Entry Program

Finding a job can be difficult. Newcomers need the job skills to find work. The Workplace Entry Program (WEP) provides information on how people work in Canada. The WEP teaches workplace communication skills, health and safety awareness, and employer expectations. The WEP also includes computer training and computer loans, when applicable. WEP students receive resumes and further guidance by the employment team.

Funding provided by Human Resources and Skills Development Canada.

Newcomers (Immigrants) to Canada aged 18-30 with a Benchmark of 3 or 4 will learn about:

  • How people work in Canada
