There’s no better season to express our gratitude to our Board members! In true Thanksgiving spirit, all of us at the Immigrant Centre sincerely thank the Board members for their generous donations to get plexiglass shields.

When Board members learned that we were unable to buy plexiglass shields for our staff, they generously offered to donate money for them, so that we could increase the safety measures to protect our front-line staff and our clients. Thank you!

Since the start of the pandemic, the Immigrant Centre has been proactive in protecting our staff, clients, volunteers, and Board members from the spread of COVID-19. Initially we suspended all in-person operations, and shifted to a remote/virtual service delivery format. Following public health orders and best practices in the sector, we opened for in-person services in June, in compliance with regulations and recommendations to stop the spread of COVID-19. All visitors, including clients and volunteers, must strictly follow our COVID-19 in person visit guidelines.
