DESCRIPTION:Looking to learn about nutrition and healthy eating\, for FREE? Register for our online Cooking Matters classes! Spots available for the next session starting in June! (Pre-registration is required – See details below). \nThe Program: \n8 weeks\n2.5 hours per week\nOpen to all newcomer adults in Manitoba! Men and women are welcome.\nThe Cooking Matters sessions on Tuesday evenings at 5:00 p.m. begin (For Wednesday morning and Saturday morning options\, please visit the events calendar on those days) Also\, in keeping with current health orders\, these classes will be held online. \nProgram Content: \nAt our Cooking Matters program\, you will learn how to prepare and cook meals that are healthy\, inexpensive and practical for you and your family. All participants will receive a cooking and nutrition booklet and create meals at home to share with their family.
