What types of job search techniques did you use to find your job?
I used online applications. Mostly through Indeed and LinkedIn. My current job I found on Indeed.

What differences have you noticed between working in Canada and working in your home country?
Honesty, I didn't notice significant differences. Before moving to Canada last 6 years I have been living in Poland. My last job was in an international company with a very nice corporate workplace culture. Working for my current company in Canada turned out very similar in terms of workplace culture and I didn't have any difficulties.

What advice would you give to immigrants and newcomers looking for work?
Work on your resume. It should be really good and match the job offer you're applying for. Updating your profile on LinkedIn will help for sure. There are lots of jobs there. Indeed is also very good. From my experience, using only these two resources I got several invitations for the interview and later got three job offers and had an opportunity to choose.
