wrote resume, taught how to apply for basic jobs (Omran Zahrab gives good advices)

What types of job search techniques did you use to find your job?
applied online (more then 200 applications for low qualification positions for 2 days - 4 responses)

What differences have you noticed between working in Canada and working in your home country?
you have employer market and a little weird HR behavior with online applications (200+ applications = 10 "no" responses which is 5% and 4 calls which is 2% for basic positions, else 93% - no answer at all, that is the question: why are you posted the vacancy if you dont even contact aplicants that more than fit for it)

What advice would you give to immigrants and newcomers looking for work?
Write in resume the lowest education and minimal experience that fits for position, it helped me in lo level jobs applications production workers/assemblers/builders/... (200 applications = 2% calls and 150 applications with the same resume but Masters degree 1 week earlier = 0 responses) It looks like networking must work better, but where to find the needed network—that is the question...
