How did the Immigrant Centre help you to find a job in Canada?
Immigrant Centre gave me a lot of information and employment services to me. It let me adapt to the new environment quickly. The staffs and facilitators are helpful and friendly. They taught me a lot of interview skills, and the centre also provided many career talks and webinars to me. Finally, I got my first job within three months with the support of the immigrant center.

What types of job search techniques did you use to find your job?
I used Glassdoor and Indeed to search job and send the resume to employer.

What differences have you noticed between working in Canada and working in your home country?
The culture and language are different. Overall, the co-workers are nice and they are willing to teach you.

What advice would you give to immigrants and newcomers looking for work?
It is important to join the employment event and workshop. Keep in touch with your employment facilitator.
