Talked to my friends/classmates, visited employers using yellow pages, job search websites, job fair, applied online help from Immigrant Centre and OFE.

What differences have you noticed between working in Canada and working in your home country?
In Canada I work at a faster pace; there are more rules; there is more respect in the workplace than in my home country.

What advice would you give to immigrants and newcomers looking for work?
Give out your resume a lot; don’t be shy to tell people that you are looking for a job; focus on your skills when talking to employers.
