How did the Immigrant Centre help you to find a job in Canada?
Immigrant Centre help me with correct my resume, sent me many job vacations that can be interesting for me, help with job search and interview tips.

What types of job search techniques did you use to find your job?
Most of the time I used Google and other local internet sereveses, also I wisited some job fairs.

What differences have you noticed between working in Canada and working in your home country?
In Canada, compared to Ukraine, the time for searching and also hiring is greatly extended. For example, you can send a resume and only after a couple of months you will receive an invitation for an interview, after another month or two they may call you that you have been accepted. Also, all work processes are heavily regulated, sometimes even very simple work requires certificates and licenses. In Ukraine, job search takes much less time, in any case, you know whether you will be hired or not, and you can not wait for an answer for months, but continue to search for work.

What advice would you give to immigrants and newcomers looking for work?
My advice - do not wait for a response to a resume, send out dozens and hundreds of resumes and wait for a response. You need to go to the city and physically look for work, bypassing companies and enterprises, and communicate directly with managers. This way you can find a job much faster.
