For past six months, Rodrigo Raval has been volunteering his time and expertise helping the Immigrant Centre develop a brand new website.

“As soon as I came to Manitoba in August 2016, I was told by other Brazilians that there was a place that could facilitate my transition to Canada. I have dedicated time before to other institutions with computer skills, and when I arrived here, I notice how friendly the community is and then, I wanted to start helping back!”

Rodrigo has over 10 years of experience in the IT world, focused on infrastructure and telecommunications. He chose to study in Canada and recently graduated from the BTM program (Business Technology Management) at Red River College.

When he’s not busy working and volunteering, Rodrigo enjoys camping, watching movies, going to the beach, outdoor activities and “having a good cup of coffee during the weekend.”
