Face masks mandatory at IC

Since September 14, 2020, face masks have been mandatory for our staff and volunteers when they are with clients, or in common areas. Now, following Manitoba Public Health orders, all clients and visitors will also be required to wear face masks when visiting Immigrant Centre, starting Monday September 28. Visit the Manitoba Government COVID-19 website for more information.

Don’t forget that all visitors, including clients and volunteers, must follow our COVID-19 in-person visit guidelines. These guidelines will stay in place even if the mask mandate is removed or modified. Learn more here.

Newcomers: Are you unable to buy or otherwise get a face mask? Let us know when you arrive! Thanks to generous donations by the Mennonite Central Committee – MCC and Face Masks Manitoba, we have a limited supply of face masks, for clients and visitors who can’t get a mask of their own. Available only while supplies last.
