What types of job search techniques did you use to find your job?
Talked to everyone. And stressed that agree to any legal work. Спілкувався з усіма. І наголошував що згоден на будь-яку легальну роботу.

What differences have you noticed between working in Canada and working in your home country?
I worked both in Ukraine and in Poland. In Canada, if you receive benefits, they still need to be divided among the whole family. In Ukraine, the whole family is automatically provided for. In Poland, I enrolled all family members and the employer covered their treatment at 100%. And not for the balance from 100%÷for the number of family members. Я працював як в Україні, так і в Польщі. В Канаді, якщо ти отримуєш бенефіти, то їх ще потрібно ділити на усю сім'ю. В Україні, автоматично уся сім'я забезпечена. В Польщі, я вписав усіх членів родини, і роботодавець покривав їх лікування на 100%. А не на залишок від 100%÷на кількість членів сім'ї.

What advice would you give to immigrants and newcomers looking for work?
Do not rely on one thing, look for it yourself, without rejecting help. Be able to listen. Learn to separate facts from politeness. Look for a full-time, part-time job, just to pay for the apartment, there is not enough food, let alone clothes. Complete all trainings and additional courses. It may be necessary in the future. Не надіятись на щось одне, шукати самому, не відкидаючи допомоги. Вміти слухати. Навчитися відділяти факти від ввічливості. Шукайте роботу на повний день, парт тайм, лише щоб оплатити квартиру, на їжу а тим більше одяг не хватить. Проходити усі тренінги, та додаткові курси. В майбутньому можеть знадобитися.
