Immigrant Centre assigned me a mentor who went through my resume and job search tips. Then I also participated in Canadian work place culture seminar and training. I received regular updates/emails about job fairs/careers shows. I learned new interview skills, became more confidence and that helped me in getting the job. I received postings through emails from Immigrant Centre, then one day I received this particular one that really interested me and I met all the requirements, I applied, got called for interview and was given the job.
