Immigrant Center was a great resource to me throughout my job search. my Employment Facilitator supported me in all aspects from resume , cover letter writing to interview preparations.

What types of job search techniques did you use to find your job?
For my job search , mostly I used LinkedIn indeed and immigration center emails for jobs. also attended two job fairs that were informed by imc to me.

What differences have you noticed between working in Canada and working in your home country?
Working in Canada is more professional. as an Engineer , i have seen many automation in industry in Canada comparing back home.

What advice would you give to immigrants and newcomers looking for work?
I advised them to be active on LinkedIn. Always get in touch with your employment facilitator. Make more friends and network to increase your horizon of job.
