How did the Immigrant Centre help you to find a job in Canada?
There are lots of job openings but still hard to find a job. Immigrant Center just help me as a newcomer to continually apply and be confident that I will find an employer that is willing to accept my professional background. I am working now in an industry far beyond my 12 years of professional experience.

What types of job search techniques did you use to find your job?
I went to job fairs, I daily applied at Indeed and other work search engines. I really hard to find one until there is a National Hiring Day in Marshalls Homesense and they got me hired.

What differences have you noticed between working in Canada and working in your home country?
There are pool of job openings here but it was really hard to find a match. My experience in my country is in cosmetic industry but I cannot get hired here even in a Cosmetic retail. Very ironic isnt it?

What advice would you give to immigrants and newcomers looking for work?
Just do not lose hope. And expand your network. Job referrals are way more faster than to apply job online.
