Writing of job specific resume, certified food handlers, interview skills, job directories and links, follow up skills on job application Employment services are awesome. They provided me with the basic baby steps i need to enter my job. They are always willing to assist me even after I got my job to learn some basic soft skills. They are also evolving in their training by reaseching and teaching immigrants the latest job search skill developments

What types of job search techniques did you use to find your job?
Talk to friends for referal ( works faster) , job fair ( this is one of the fastest especially in a competitive job. Make sure to present yourself well in the skills needed and appearance), visited imployer to submit my resume in person even after I have applied for that job online

What differences have you noticed between working in Canada and working in your home country?
There is a big difference between Canadian work place and my country. You must know how to resolve conflict very well and other soft skills

What advice would you give to immigrants and newcomers looking for work?
Try to volunteer so you could have a reference, and learn Canadian work place. Take the volunteer job as if it is your actual work like being9 time and diligent in what you are doing. Be observant and ask questions when you know
