At Immigrant center, I attended numerous training like First Aid/CPR, Customer service, Loss Prevention, Job interview skill, Resume writing skills, these trainings help me in developing an outstanding resume in collaboration with my employment facilitator. IC organized numerous prospective employers to discuss job vacancies via zoom.

What types of job search techniques did you use to find your job?
Indeed, LinkedIn, Yellow pages, Job fair and talked to my friends were some of the job techniques I used.

What differences have you noticed between working in Canada and working in your home country?
Working in Canada is entirely different from my home country in terms of pay, relationship among employee, bonuses, work flexibility, respect and work-life balance

What advice would you give to immigrants and newcomers looking for work?
They should make Immigrant Center their first point on call and make use of all available resources in the center that can make them relevant and employer's choice in Canada employment market.
